Review of the Bay HouseOur recent stay at the Bay House exceeded our expectations, making it a memorable family getaway. Traveling from California, I appreciated the warm welcome from Peter, who met us late at night to ensure a smooth arrival. With two children aged 8 and 7, we found the house incredibly family-friendly. The property's layout facilitated quality family time, especially in the comfortable lounge area. The kids were delighted by the ample Netflix options, allowing for cozy movie nights after a day of exploration. The adjacent green area, featuring a large tree swing, became a favorite spot for them, where they played for hours under the Irish sky. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to whip up simple meals, and the local produce left for us was a pleasant surprise. Located just outside the city, we found the Bay House peaceful yet conveniently close to nearby attractions like Buncrana Golf Club and Oakfield Park. Our stay was incredibly fulfilling, and we look forward to returning during our next visit to Derry. Thank you, Emma and Peter, for making our family experience enjoyable and welcoming.
